Lee’s 2026 Shootout Event!

LEE’S 2026 SHOOTOUT UPDATE

HELLO !

I wish to thank those that have entered Lee’s Shootout 2026 this far in advance. Karyn & I head up to Hammock Beach Sunday morning for contract signing meetings and now have some numbers to work with…I believe we get a 10% leeway with the guarantees. Besides finalizing our dates, we are being locked in with 2024 prices!…another reason this is being done so early.

So, here are the players confirmed:

2026 SHOOTOUT TEAMS

Again, I have simply added on to the previous emails that have been sent…in case some new entrants have any questions.

Hope all had a nice Thanksgiving. Upon our return I will send out the confirmed dates, which looks more and more to be March 1-5. Please, when the TBD partners are filled and/or any more teams wish to enter, let me know ASAP- I thank you for that.

My best to all!

LEE

I guess if I keep adding on to this original email, it will become longer than any paper I did in my entire schooling career!

Sorry to bother everyone, but Thanksgiving sign-up date is only a week away and I wanted you to see the players that are in for the next Shootout-I realize it’s aways off and don’t want to bug you, but it’s a BIG help having this information before me signing any contracts.

In no particular order:

  1. CHRIS JONES-MELISSA CLARK

  2. BOB GENDRON-PAUL RANDALL

  3. ROGER MCCLELLAND-MIKE MCBRIDE

  4. KEN GENDRON-DEAN BENNETT

  9. ART DIGREGORIO (BARB)-PHIL ROUX (KAREN)

  10. ANDREW HAWKINS-TBD

  11. JACK FITZGERALD-ELLEN HUNT-ALL TIME $ LEADERS

  12. LOU PAPDELLIS-TBD

  16. PETER TORILLI-TBD

  17. MIKE HEBERT-KENDRA LIKELY

  18. DON FRADETTE (CATHY)-CHRIS GORTZIG

  19. STEVE HEFFERNAN-TBD

  20. KEN GLOWACKI-RICH ARSENAULT

  21. ALEX NOSEVITCH (LISA DEMINGS)-MATT CRANE (KAREN)-DEFENDING CHAMPS

That’s it for now…wish you all, and families, a Happy Thanksgiving! All prices were based on 44 players…so going forward, if there are any changes, I certainly will let you know. Again, thanks for your cooperation.
Lee
My apologies if something in the below email pricing confused anyone…the TOTAL fee for a player & non playing guest is $2750. The “each” referenced per player. Sorry.
Also, dates 95% will be March1-5, 2026. All will be confirmed and contracts signed Dec 8, 2025 pending enough participation. Currently we have 5 teams signed up…7 individuals signed up with no partner listed and 4 teams getting back to me.
Lee
Hope everyone enjoyed hitting the streets last night getting free candy…My costume this year was a tough one to get fitted for-I went as a Boston College HOF soccer player…mostly got the door slammed in my face
First off, sorry I didn’t get to see many of you this summer-only made it down once. Summer just flew by!.
Reason for the email, I am close to finalizing the 2026 Shootout, if players are still interested. Voting turned out Florida barely edging out Las Vegas as a destination. I have been in contact with several venues down here and it is amazing as to how far in advance reservations must be secured.
Okay, here is what is about to be finalized December 8th, 2024 when Karyn & I are heading up to HAMMOCK BEACH GOLF RESORT
Florida Beach Resorts – Hammock Beach Resort & Spa Official Website™
The dates being offered are:
February 22-26 or March 1-5 2026
We play the Nicklaus Ocean course Monday & Wednesday with our 2nd round on the Watson Conservatory course. Each round will have tee times starting at 9:00am. My apologies to Mark Hearon, I know he would rather play at 6!!
Prior to Sunday night’s opening dinner, there will be a 1 hour open bar of beer & house wine…followed by cash bar per usual. Closing dinner Wednesday, straight cash bar.
All players with a room requiring one bed (single player, team of a couple, player with non-player wife) will be staying at the Main Tower in a 1 bedroom, ocean view suite. Those requiring 2 beds, will stay in a 2 bedroom Villa with resort view…you can view suites, villas, courses etc on the attached website.
ALL attending are included to the buffet breakfast at the Main Tower.
Because it’s so far in advance, and this will be in the contract, I have asked for “worst case” pricing scenario…so this is what we are maximum guaranteeing to the resort for 2026 compared to what we spent in Vegas 2024.
Single bed 1 player : 2024 $2050 ea 2026 $2500 ea
Single bed both players: 2024 $1850 ea 2026 $2100 ea
Single bed 1 player 1 non player: 2024 $2250 ea 2026 $2750 ea
Two beds 2 players 2024 $1850 ea 2026 $2100 ea
If interested in playing, please let me know by Thanksgiving. These prices they gave me are all predicated on our usual figures: minimum 44 players and room counts. If we don’t reach that, I must make changes prior to the December 8th contract signing. Please note, feel free to invite anyone else you feel would like to join in, the more the merrier, plus may alter prices?! ha
I thank you all in advance and await to see the response. As mentioned at both dinners last March, I was very disappointed how “tired” Treasure Island was and have decided to go with top notch accommodations henceforth, not just quality courses.
My very best thoughts for all…LEE

NOT EVEN CLOSE!

I received 23 responses resulting in a 21-2 vote IN FAVOR of me proceeding to hire a bus to take everyone to & from Pauite Golf Club with pickup at Treasure Island-our host hotel.

So, I will simply add $100 per player on the balance due. I shall form a list of those amounts and send them along shortly, so all know and can plan-again, must be in my possession on or before November 1.

REMINDER:

The list below for the 18 rooms requested Saturday night (I’ve included all previous emails so simply scroll down) are to be paid to Bob & Paul so they may send me 1 check. The balance due amounts I’m sending out DO NOT include this fee. In order to appease the hotel, this has been handled as a separate entity. I thank you all for your cooperation and especially to Bob & Paul for taking care of it.

Any questions-feel free to drop me a note.

Fairways always,

Lee

——————————————————————-

QUESTION:

I think some monies can be saved regarding transportation to and from Treasure Island & Pauite Golf Club (about a 30-35 minute ride) for March 18,19 & 20. I don’t know what car rentals are but they seem high-ha what isn’t nowadays.

That said, I am in the process of setting up a bus charter for all 44 players, with the clubs brought out on the18th and returning with them on the 20th-club storage at Pauite is included.

Including driver tip, who remains at the course during play, comes to an addition $100 per player. Believe it or not the rate for the miles, 8+ hours , gas, taxes, tip, insurance etc etc come to nearly $1450 per day.

I have decided to have majority rule here…please email me and let me know if you DO or DO NOT want me to proceed with reserving a bus.

I have requested a pickup time to get players to the course for 7-7:15 am which will give you plenty of time for breakfast and warmup before the 8:30 am shotgun. Bus company said they would arrive at the hotel at 6:15am and depart at 6:30am-estimating a 30 minute ride to meet our preferred arrival time.

If majority decides for me to proceed with bus confirmation, I will simply add the extra $100 to your balance due…which MUST be received by me ON OR BEFORE NOVEMBER 1ST 2023.

Any players not paid in full by deadline will incur a $300 additional fee: reason being I had to put up $10,000 out of pocket for late payments first time around and I don’t think that’s fair-so PLEASE plan ahead.

The decision regarding bus lease will be made in the next 3-5 days because my deadline to sign contract is 1 week from today-I will cover the deposit for this, so no reason to send anything now. So, the decision is yours by simple email response.

Okay, enough with that…I hope everyone is doing well and making lots of putts! Karyn & I are enjoying Maine very much and was lucky enough to come by the Club twice already and look forward to more pop-ins.

Also, I’m looking at the teams entered for this trip and find it quite difficult to handicap which teams will be the ones to beat-especially being in Las Vegas. I know the first time I played an event out there I almost missed my tee time…which was 11:45 am !! What happens in Vegas…ha

My very best to you all

Fairways always,

Lee

Anyone that sent extra monies toward their Saturday stay, that amount will simply be deducted from the balance due come November. I will send out another email listing who owes what at that time.

All these details and the event is literally A YEAR FROM NOW!! GEEZ…ha

As you can see, I have included most preceded emails for everyone to look over-if you still have any questions, just shoot me an email and I will get back to you.

Everyone be well,

Lee

——————————————————————

ITrust me, Vegas is NOT in trouble even in this economy. Rates for things change ever day and sometimes quite drastically. For example, due to March Madness for one, if we arrived the original week prior, all prices are DOUBLED! The below prices are locked in for us. When 2024 prices come out, if lower for our week (haha), they will give us

the lower rate

Players sharing a room $1725 each

Players staying alone $1950

Players w/non players $ 2150

That said, both hotel & golf courses want substantial financial commitment a year in advance. So, I need each player to send me a $1,000 deposit asap.

Per usual, check made out to me (LEE DANIELIAN) & mailed to:

8324 MUIRFIELD WAY

PORT ST LUCIE, FL 34986

Also, if anyone is planning on arriving a day or 2 early, or stay a day or 2 longer and need your room extended, let me know that as well on or before you send the check. Please do this like years past through Bob Gendron & Paul Randall-who I just now volunteered again!!

I understand things can certainly change as we get closer, but I have been advised to reserve for possibilities now rather than later.

If you have any questions, best email for me: leedanielian88@gmail.com

Fairways always,

Lee

LEE’S 2024 SHOOTOUT UPDATE

First, I hope everyone had great Holidays…and wish you all many 1 putts for 2023.

As you know from my previous update, PGA here in Port St Lucie is not available until mid-end of April for our 2024 “SHOOTOUT”

Other venues are also unavailable or ridiculously priced.

So, here is how things stand now-the prices etc are predicated on number of players, so I can only relay ballpark figures at this time. The meaning for the update is I must make reservations in the next 30-45 days etc which includes signed contracts, deposits etc. So, let me know if you plan on attending so I may proceed one way or another.

Currently:

-Arrival & opening dinner Sunday March 10, 2024

-Golf tournament Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday

-Closing dinner/awards Wednesday

-Check out Thursday March 14

-Tentative home base MANDALAY BAY RESORT @ CASINO Las Vegas, Nevada

-PAUITE GOLF COURSES our host tournament site

-Breakfast prior to each round at Pauite followed by 8:30 am SHOTGUN starts.

Again, these are prices that will firm up once I get final number of players. We can expand the field, so if you know of anyone interested have them contact me ASAP.

Estimates:

-2 players sharing a room $1500-1750 per person

-1 player staying alone $1750-1950

-1 player & 1 non player $1975-2175

Sorry I cannot be specific, but won’t be determined until the count is guaranteed and contracts are signed.

Golf event will be the same…$100 per player will include nearest to pins every day, daily & overall team prizes and individual skins at 50% handicap. The average temps that time of year is low 70’s during the day and can dip into high 40’s at night. I’ve played all 3 courses several times and they are a blast…desert golf is good fun.

The Pauite is right off the highway about 20-30 minutes from the strip. Mandalay Bay, or whatever hotel it may be, WILL be on the strip, so easy access to get right on the highway and in the middle of all the Vegas activities.

Again, sorry to bother with all this so far in advance but you can imagine, especially for Las Vegas, how far they are booked in advance.

Karyn and I are both well, now that our Covid experience is behind us…made for a quiet Christmas & New Year, but we are both on the mend currently.

Okay, that’s it for now. If you can simply send me a confirmation of participation or declaration you will not attend sooner than later, that would be appreciated.

Again, this invite has gone out to our 2022 players…if you know of any other teams that may be interested, have contact me as well.

Tracey Ferguson, I don’t have your son-in-laws email and Kenny Miller, I don’t have Jim Lane’s current email either- so please pass this along. Thanks

My very best to all of you -Peace

LEE

First off, I certainly hope this finds everyone well and making putts! Some crazy times going on, but “this too shall pass”…

I know it seems crazy to reach out concerning something for 2024, but I would like your input on something. At my post event meeting with PGA this past February, I was informed the Club is not allowing members any parties more than 16 during prime Season-I knew that was coming after seeing in 2022 initiation fee went to $40,000, non-member fees are $190 per round, etc etc. yet there is a waiting list to get in of 1-2 years .

So, here are the options I was given -we can keep our event and the number of players, but the dates they offer are either early to mid September of 2023 or end of April early May 2024. I informed them I didn’t particularly care for the September option because what a great time to play golf in New England, so am considering the April/May option. Will actually push for mid-end of April if I can. Your thoughts?

SYK, first thing I did was contact a friend at PGA in Palm Beach Gardens about January OR February hosting us…ready? Based on double occupancy, NOT including any food, rate is $700 per night room/golf.

The last few months I’ve been in negotiations with Disney, in Orlando. The golf courses I have “reserved, (100% refundable deposit I sent in if I commit one way or the other, by Fall of 2022) The Palm, The Magnolia & Lake Buena Vista are close $ wise and I feel doable, but accommodation prices at convenient acceptable locations are not in budget. Believe it or not, the courses at Disney DO NOT offer any place to have our dinners, so the hotel must suffice.

Recently, I’m in contact for options further south at Doral and Hard Rock Hotel & Casino…but that is so recent am still waiting for concrete figures etc.

I have a verbal agreement that our package at PGA Port St Lucie, both with Hilton & golf courses, would never go up more than $100-200 pp from one event to the next. They know our fees are really good, but they also acknowledge how great and appreciative everyone is with our group and hope to keep this going. Also, I did call in a couple favors back 2018 and the facilities, especially Hilton, have honored it…so far.

So, bottom line, how does mid-end April work for all? I will not have the freedom to select exact dates, but assuming arrival on Saturday & departure on Wednesday will be available, if in fact that remains everyone’s preference.

I’ve been in contact with Lou & Mike, keeping me appraised of things there… Golf Genius is pretty awesome-happy to hear people like it and it’s fun for me to keep tabs on who is winning etc–even though I just cracked getting to view it yesterday! Sadly, that’s true–thanks for the help Mike!

Karyn & I look forward to popping down there a couple times in the next few months to see everyone and get caught up.

Thank you all, in advance, for your thoughts on my options…LEE

LEE’S FLORIDA SHOOTOUT 2020
I’m happy to see the weather there is still going strong…just a couple things about January. Just had my last meeting (hopefully)with Hilton Garden Inn. With the Mets fantasy camp in town there are no rooms for extra nights at this time. However, they just purchased the SpringHill Inn which is 1 mile down the street, where Duffy’s is (that’s another story). Anyone in need of any extra nights, call Francesca at the Hilton Sales Office and tell her you are with me (Lee’s January tournament). The # is: 772-828-4052 I also just met with the PGA Club and we are confirmed…our rotation is Sunday The Ryder , Monday The Dye & Tuesday The Wanamaker. Each day we are first, 7:30am starts. FYI, our 2nd round and especially final round last time we played in 4 1/2 then 4 3/4 hours which made PGA reduce me to just 36 players and a noon first tee time if/when we returned. I have ASSURED the powers that be, our 40 players will record the 4 -4 1/4 hour expected time. If anyone feels they cannot, now is the time to speak up. If a majority wishes, I will see if those noon starts are still available. Remember, they average around 600 players a day in Season. Also, I meet next week with the head manager at Duffy’s regarding reserving that room again for Sunday football. Hopefully, it’s the Pats playing again. I’m advising him some will be there by 1 kickoff and all should be there by 2. Once again, they will be running but 1 tab…Mr Watson I’m sure will work that out. Maybe Jack & Ellen will renew their vows!! Ha Anyway, if that’s something you are NOT interested in, please let me know ASAP. Again, I’ll take care of the room deposit…it’s refundable ! ha Unless we are a no-show. And finally, in regards to golf at PGA Club Saturday, the fee is $128+ tax. Anyone wishing to play another round after completion of our round, the fee is $95+ tax. Simply go on line or call for tee times. 772-467-1300. That’s that for now…any questions——–ask Bob! Peace, Lee

————————————————————————————-

Hello all….. Okay, “back by popular demand” I’m enclosing the information for the FLORIDA SHOOTOUT #2..January 18-22, 2020. All necessary meetings are complete, I have secured rooms and golf courses (naturally, rates are up from 2 years ago).  I will once again, if you would like, reserve the private room at DUFFY’S for your Sunday after golf “pleasure”…2 for 1 drinks all day every day! Maybe Jack & Ellen will renew their vows….haha Because I have been limited to the number of players, the first 19 teams that contact me (email) are IN. A wait list will then be started.$500 per person deposit is due no later than June 1, balance due before August 1. The link below shows all details of the trip…..any questions, please feel free to contact me.   Please find a link to the shootout details here: http://proposalpath.com/9ed0fb26Just wanted to pass along the teams entered for January 2020 SHOOTOUT. It’s also nice to see we have 8-9 players bringing their non-playing wives this year.Lots of returnees and welcome some new faces. Am especially happy to see “old” but forever family members coming-Alex Nosevich, Matt Crane, Jay Mayo-once again should be a good time. 1 Bob Gendron-Paul Randall 2 Jack Fitzgerald-Ellen Hunt 3 Art DiGregorio -Phil Roux 4 Chris Maynard-Susan Maynard 5 Kathy Gurskis-Donna Lesieur 6 Alex Nosevich-Matt Crane 7 Tracey Ferguson-Dave Ferguson 8 Kate Ricker-Jim Gendron 9 Chris Gortzig-Andrew Hawkins 10 Mike McBride-Mike Mucci 11 Kenny Miller-Jim Lane 12 Ken Flynn-Don Nash 13 Dick Gabriel-Mark Laviolette 14 Tom Foley -Jack Tannar 15 Mike Phippard-Kevin Watson 16 Peggy Bal-Bruce Guida 17 Jay Mayo Mark Hearon 18 Ken Glowacki-Frank Aniello 19 Roger McClelland -Jack McNulty 20 Lou Papadellis-TBD

Format is 2 net. 4 net pars or better is an extra stroke. Remember this is in honor of Phippy whose motto was “While were young”. Make him proud and stay up with the group in front of you.

If you are letting the global economic crisis or the general deterioration of law and order around the world buy levitra cut up your personal peace and eat into your relationships, then you are being unfair to yourself and your loved ones. An online pharmacy viagra search in the fastest way to research the internet for the Healthiest Organic Supplements. So, theoretically in an attempt to lower cholesterol with a generico cialis on line statin could also lower testosterone levels which subsequently can lead to impaired sex drive.

We now will have a new trophy in honor of Phippy. Jack T came up with the great idea of having a trophy and went out and ordered one he’ll be picking up next Thursday. The Phippy Cup will now be a Winter Tour annual event in honor of one of the most courageous man we will ever know.
Saturday is going to be an event to honor our hero Phippy. As we all know he loved playing golf and kept him going for so many years. Over the last several years he had become very weak playing from the Red tees. His long drives had dropped to just 135 – 140 yds on a good day.
Well we’re all going to get to play in his heavenly shoes on Saturday.
Everyone will be playing from the Red tees but the longest club in your bag that you will be allowed to play must be a club you can hit on average 140 yards. We’ll be using 80% of handicaps from tees folks typically play. Ladies will be 100% handicaps. We’ll be using the Red Tee handicap for strokes. As Phippy did, the 4th hole will be played from the Red tees across the ravine. We’ll play it as a Par3 but most will still be stroking based on the Red Tee handicap.
Phippy had a strong desire to get to Foxwoods over the past few weeks. We were hoping to be taking him and his sister Maryellen who has been his Godsend bringing him to the course from Hudson over the past few months and returning to pick him up. Mike was looking forward to it bringing it up often.
We will be taking the $10 entry fees for this event to give to Maryellen for a Foxwoods trip at an appropriate time bringing her Angel Phippy with us. Leslie has made a symbolic Angel for Maryellen to bring along. When we schedule the trip, anyone wishing to join us is more than welcome once we set a date.
Will the 1st name in bold on each team listed below please collect from the group and give it to Kevin at the end of the round so we can package it up to present as a surprise to Maryellen.
Instead of paying out on Saturday, team winners will instead have their names on the already Prestigious “Phippy Cup” trophy.
We’ll be honored to have Mike’s two sons (Matt and Tom) playing in the event.
Phippy’s employer (Phoenix Color) is generously donating $200 and also picking up the cost of the “Phippy Cup” trophy ($165) being picked up by Jack Tannar.

Great idea from Kevin on the format and having this event.

– $50 Event Fees are to be paid after golf on Saturday (Each team turns in $200 with Scorecard)

There is no indoor common area for us to gather after golf.

Assuming weather is good we will be gathering outside the Fairway house for cornhole and other activities.

They have picnic tables, if you want a more comfortable seat bring a lawn chair.

Suggest folks bring a sweatshirt or sweater as it could be cool in the evening.

Bring what you want for beverages and a cooler (they have an ice machine but do not have fridges in the rooms)

You can also bring snacks for post golf / post dinner Saturday/Sunday.

I have included “suggested tee” for everyone but you are free to play from whatever tee you want.

For handicaps everyone will calculate and use their daily course handicap based on the tee they play.

If you can’t figure out how to calculate your course handicap see me or Bob

At the request of several people Saturday afternoon format is an ABCD 2 ball scramble (rotate partners)

I calculated handicaps for the scramble but since every team handicap is within a stroke we will play it without handicaps.

Summer Trip is back to Sat/Sun/Mon – Aug 22, 23, 24

I didn’t realize it but they have a couple houses along with the 30 room lodge.

We have 16 rooms, 8 doubles and 8 singles.

We have the fairway house which has 8 bedrooms

The Cottage house which has 4 bedrooms

And we have 4 rooms in the lodge.

Total cost is roughly $380 for double / $425 for single.

Everyone will pay at the course when we get there.

Package includes:

3 rounds of golf with cart at Country Club of NH

2 nights lodging

2 dinners (Sat and Sun night)

Who’s in for our Annual Summer golf trip 2020?

Paul’s has found us a new spot that looks pretty good. See his message below with details.

He’s trying to lock in everything next week so please try to respond by Monday.

Please look at the list below and let me know if you have a roommate or would prefer a single room. Confirm with your roommate first before letting me know.

Trying to wrap up by Monday so Paul can lock things down as they are holding reservations for us.

We have room for 2 but looking for at least another alternate to possibly take Kevin’s spot as the dates at the moment don’t work for him. He has Executive privilege so we’re holding a room right now. Likely the alternate will ge in though.

Subject: Winter Tour Summer Trip

I’m looking at the Country Club of New Hampshire for our summer trip this year.

I talked to them today and the only weekend available in August is Sat 8/22 thru Mon 8/24

The weekend after Club Championships

They are holding the dates for us but I need to get back to them in the next week or so with rough number and put down deposit to lock it in.

I did a trip there 30+ years ago and as I recall course is nice, accommodations similar to rooms at Killington.

Dave Ferguson went a couple years ago and recommended it.

They have on site accommodations with breakfast and dinner included in the package (so Kevin doesn’t need to do the food).

They don’t have final pricing but said they don’t expect pricing to increase much from what’s listed on the website.

Stay and play package – 2 nights double occupancy accommodations, 2 breakfasts, 2 dinners, and 2 rounds of golf with cart – $312

2nd round on Sunday – $20 (cart fee only)

Estimated room and meals tax – $25

Total $360-$380 (+$50-$75 for single rooms)

Plan would be to drive up Sat and play 18 with tee times starting around noon.

Overnight Sat/Sun

Dinner Sat and Sun night

Breakfast Sunday

Play 36 on Sunday

Leave after breakfast on Monday and play 18 somewhere on the way home (green fees additional)

Check out the web-site for more details.

Sat and Sun night accommodations at the Mountain Sports Inn in Killington
Dinner Saturday and Sunday night prepared by our winter tour executive chef Kevin Watson

$254 for folks sharing a room or in the house

$192 for Dean (no room, he is taking the couch in the house)

Please pay this to me by July 15th.

Additional costs to be paid during trip
$59 for green fees / cart at the Equinox (regular rate is $129, thanks to Darren for negotiating the reduced rate for our group).  Pay at the course.
$49 for green fees / cart at Crumpin-Fox (regular rate is $79, thank Lee for getting us the reduced rate).  Pay at the course.

Killington Trip 2019 (Updated)

We’re looking to possibly add a trip to Saratoga Race track for Friday 8/16. It would likely include golf on the way up and then heading to the race track for the day. Mike would reserve a couple picnic benches for us to drink and be merry during the races. There’s also a nearby casino nearby not that I would go.

Below is some info on where we would stay and all who went could have a shorter trip in the morning to play Equinox. Please sign up with the link below if interested then we’ll get more details and formulate a plan. Also if interested indicate in the comments section if you would be thinking single room or sharing.

Mike McBride has located 6 or 7 rooms in a newly built holiday inn express about 20 minutes north of the track at exit 18 queensbury ny. Also on track to go over to Vermont in about 1hour and 15.

Room base rate is 194 per nite , have a mix of kings and rooms with 2 queens.
Full breakfast is included .
Cancellation policy is no charge if cancelled 72 hours in advance.
Mike said they would take his card and hold the rooms and people can call in and book in their own.
If interested please indicate by end of the day tomorrow so we can make a final decision. Thanks.

2018 Trip

Killington Vt.  (August 18, 19 & 20)

Results!

Attached are the details for this weekend’s trip to Killington.

As with all Winter Tour “away” events we will be using handicap indexes for all events.

Killington is about a 3 hr 15 min drive from Shining Rock (per google maps).

Plan to get there early, lunch is available at the golf course if you want to eat before the round.

We are staying at the Mountain Sports Inn,  it’s about 3 miles from the Killington golf course (back down Killington road).

Plan to check in after you finish golf on Saturday.

Our Winter Tour Executive Chef (Kevin) will be preparing dinner Saturday and Sunday night after golf.

Total cost for both meals, snacks, water, etc. is $50, please pay this to Kevin before the 1st round on Saturday.

Menus are in the attached file.

Kevin is bringing all the food, paper plates, cups, etc.

All you need to bring is your favorite beverages.

You can also bring an appetizer or snack if you’d like (not required).

Total event costs are $45.

$10 per round, plus $5 for 2 round skins at Green Mountain on Sunday.

Please pay this to Kevin before the 1st round on Saturday

We will pay the winners after each round.

Total everyone needs to pay Kevin before the 1st round on Saturday is $95 ($50 for food and $45 for golf events).

For those that would like breakfast there is a restaurant next to the hotel that will be open Sunday and Monday morning.

Monday’s round is at Okemo Golf Club (about ½ hours from hotel on the way home).

Everyone will need to pay the green fees when they get to the course.

Lee was able to get us a discount, I believe we are paying $90.

See everyone this weekend.

Phil’s K of C Tournament 2022

Phil’s Knights of Columbus Tournament

Details Click Here!

I am pleased to announce the Knights will once again be holding our 21st annual golf charity tournament at the Shining Rock Golf Club. If you are interested, please save the date (Sun. Sept 11th), and review the details attached (note the special rate for full members on page 2).  This will be the ninth year at “the Rock”, and Shining Rock members and friends have been so wonderful in supporting us.  The event is a four person scramble, which we have dubbed the “Birdie Blues”.

I’d like to get a general headcount by the end of July, so simply email a reply to me with your intent to play.  Formation of foursomes and payment will be due by the end of August.  Again, thanks all of you who have participated in the past, and plan to participate again this year.  Your support last year allowed us to provide scholarships to deserving students, and we hope to continue this tradition with your ongoing support.

Best Regards,

Phil Roux
